Do you have proof that cartel members are working at consulates? I would guess no, you don’t, because they are not. Have you ever been to a Mexican consulate in the US? Have you ever seen how busy they actually are? Mexican citizens make up over 5 million+ of the US population not to mention the US/Mexican border is over 2000 miles long. It is not preposterous to think that each state would have it’s own Mexican consulate. In addition, all the Americans that reside in US and want to become Mexican residents have to go though them. FYI, the US has 9 consulates in Mexico and another 9 agencies, for a total of 18 and even more US consulates could be used here to diminish the ridiculous wait times. There are only an estimated 1.6M of us Americans living here in Mexico. So, mathematically speaking the number of Mexican consulates in the US are approximately the same ratio as the US consulates & agencies in Mexico. 1.6M:18 vs 5M:50,11.25 vs 10.

Wray hasn’t ever yet addressed the issue of why Mexico has 50 (repeat 50) Consulates in the U.S.
Most countries have 3 or 4. China has only 5. Cartel members are doubtless working in those Consulates though not as Consular employees. What are they up to? In that regard, Wray has never queried, mentioned, or acknowledged anything.
