Don’t overlook Trump has did he wants immigrants, just not from ‘shit hole’ countries. MAGA likes white people and white culture, whatever they think that is and that’s how he gets them on his side. He is ‘protecting’ them from non-white ‘ replacement. OMG. I’m so glad I moved to Mexico. I’ve never been happier. So we’re supposed to be satisfied if the immigrants entering don’t commit crimes at a higher rate than those already here? That’s absurd.
If the crime rate among those admitted to the US, legal and illegal, is not much lower than the existing crime rate, that’s a mistake. Those with criminal records should be screened out at the border. Entering the US is a privilege, not a right.

The “machines” detecting fentanyl were already approved, and are anomaly detection scanners, they cannot determine what is drugs, specifically. They have also been in use for many years, on a secondary inspection basis.
