Hi Jeffrey, Thank you for trying to make the recipe. Although the recipe calls for 1/2 cup, the cornstarch is only for coating. If you think the sweets need more consistency, you can try incorporating the second step of the fruit borrachitos into the tequila ones. I hope that helps.
